Job description for Business Development Manager (Indonesia) at Audeo Pte Ltd
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is responsible for identifying, developing, and converting business opportunities into sales to drive revenue and expand market presence in Indonesia. The position also involves managing key accounts, fostering strong and long-term client relationships, and upholding AUDEO’s mission and values in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate and qualify leads through cold outreach, networking platforms, and social media channels to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, target clients, and projects, while ensuring accurate and up-to-date CRM records (ClickUp).
- Execute sales strategies in line with annual business plans and forecasts, consistently achieving or exceeding individual and team OKRs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, driving account growth and increasing client lifetime value.
- Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials aligned with brand positioning and campaign objectives.
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in marketing activities, trade shows, and industry events within the assigned territory.
- Identify, onboard, and manage distributors in line with business expansion plans.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales, pipeline, and distribution reports to management.
- Develop and submit accurate, timely quotations and proposals, ensuring alignment with pricing strategies and profit margins; actively follow up to close opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and organized client and prospect databases.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Support team to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategy and positioning.
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with clients and partners.
- Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes, tools, and workflows.
- Represent the company’s brand, values, and professionalism in all client interactions.
Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial sales within the Energy or Marine sectors, or other relevant B2B sales experience.
- Diploma or degree in a technical or business-related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels.
- Proven negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Highly organized with strong task management and a systematic approach to work.
- Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
