PC Dreams work through our partners to collect pre-owned consumer electronics and put the “waste” through our established supply chains to keep as many devices above ground and in circulation for as long as the economy will have them.
By increasing the lifespan of electronic devices, we reduce consumption of new devices, bridge the rich-poor divide and help corporations and individuals take active steps to achieve their sustainability goals.
Our strategy is to offer a seamless experience by integrating our systems with strategic partners who are able to amplify the catchment area for pre-owned devices to over 100 locations islandwide in the next 2 years.
Business Development Manager (B2B)
The Business Development Manager is central to PC Dreams Group business. He/She is responsible for one of the most important strategies that is essential to the development of PC Dreams Group.
The ideal candidate is someone who is a compelling communicator, persistent and able to work angles to achieve objectives. He/She will be the front of the company, promoting PC Dreams Group vision of ‘working towards a zero e-waste world’.
Objectives
- Together with leadership, drive business development activities through events, trade shows, networking in sustainability events to reach out to sustainability managers in large corporations
- Engage external stakeholders and present compelling proposal to support them to achieve their sustainability objectives and position PC Dreams Group as the partner of choice
- Position PC Dreams as the leader in e-waste because of the unique value chain created in a established global ecosystem
Responsibilities
- Attend trade shows and networking events and build a database of sustainability subject matter experts, decision makers and develop relationships with the objective of penetrating the business to create lasting ESG impact through long term partnerships
- Conduct research and all possible industries and players that have ESG goals and build maps on key personnel and communication logs with them
- Conduct educational presentation to continue to position PC Dreams as a market leader and go to for ewaste advisory and handling
- Immerse in the PC Dreams ecosystem and understand the suppliers, beneficiaries to fully represent these stakeholders needs
- Develop easy to understand pitch decks and drive successful presentations together with management
- Develop materials and other collaterals for the e-waste sustainability and advocacy
