Job description for Business & System Analyst at Machine Vision Indonesia
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s in IT/Engineering/Operations Management or related fields.
- Min. 3 year in business analysis/consulting/operations/digital transformation.
- Manufacturing/operations exposure is a plus.
- Proven ability to bridge technical operations with business requirements; can translate shop floor challenges into actionable digital solutions.
- Basic understanding with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, VSM, FMEA) and understanding of operational metrics (OEE, cycle time, waste reduction).
- Skilled in requirement gathering, documentation, stakeholder management.
- Familiar with BPMN, UML, Excel, SQL, BI tools; knowledge of Agile/Scrum & project management.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and system architecture.
- Basic financial modeling (ROI, NPV, IRR, payback).
- Analytical, data-driven, detail-oriented yet strategic.
- Curious, adaptable, strong communication, entrepreneurial mindset, continuous learner.
- Able to work independently & in teams; willing to work on-site/travel as needed.
- Able to ask the right questions and dig into root causes.
Main Task:
- Gather and analyze business requirements across functions.
- Translate business problems into clear, structured requirements (BRD/FSD/Use Cases) that can be executed by technical teams.
- Identify problems/opportunities in production, operations, finance, supply chain, mainly for manufacturing companies.
- Analyze and map as-is and to-be business processes using standard methodologies (BPMN, flowcharts, etc.).
- Develop strategies, roadmaps, and tailored business/tech solutions (esp. shopfloor digitalization).
- Produce documentation: requirements, user stories, process maps, user guides.
- Plan and manage projects (scope, budget, timeline, risk).
- Lead cross-functional teams and ensure timely, quality delivery.
- Prioritize solution features and modules based on business impact, ROI, and implementation readiness.
- Support technical teams with business/process insights.
- Provide status reports and drive continuous improvements.
- Maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including requirement changes, client communications, and decision logs.
- Act as the communication bridge between clients, internal teams, and vendors to ensure mutual understanding of project requirements and outcomes.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, clarify ambiguities, and resolve conflicts constructively.
- Provide business validation during system development, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and post-implementation review.
- Provide insights on industry trends, technology adoption, and best practices to guide continuous solution improvement.
