Company Description
Bluente is an early stage language SaaS firm. We are the world’s first mobile app that helps learners achieve business language proficiency. Our vision is to connect international communities globally through language.
Our app is now live on the app store and we have just secured our first round of funding.
We're looking for people who are enthusiastic about our product but also fast and independent learners. As our first bizops and strategy hire, you'll be an essential part of the team and will be helping us solve our most pressing business and operational issues and gain exposure to every part of our business.
We are a high-growth, early stage startup and over time this role will present potential internal pathways to leadership roles for new functions as they are developed.

Role: Strategy & Business Ops
- Lead key projects & initiatives reports-out: Work with the leadership team and other stakeholders
- Support our CEO on day-to-day management and analysis on high priority issues by collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Design and Customer team to bring ideas to life
- Lead our monthly business reviews and help prepare external presentations (board & investor decks, strategic presentations, etc.)
- Build comprehensive understanding of our products based on customer segments, business value, technical feasibility and strategy
- Design experiments to iterate and develop new and existing features
- Conduct data-driven analysis, extracting key insights and communicating findings in a compelling way to drive critical business decisions
- Analyze business fundamentals and work cross-functionally to implement high-impact projects and ensure the business meets its critical metrics
- Establish organizational processes that create leverage for our teams as we scale the business
- Prioritize and launch products that are most important to our target segments
- Identify and implement new opportunities that grow Bluente’s business
- Conduct market analysis and prepare stakeholder presentations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Strategy or related field
- 2+ years of working experience preferred in top-tier consulting, banking or at a high-performing tech company
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Advanced SQL and/or data visualization tools experience required
- Advanced Excel experience required
- Results-oriented, resourceful and high willingness to learn
- Highly accountable and takes ownership of one’s own work
- Self-started with an interest in entrepreneurship
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Curiosity to explore creative solutions and try new things
- Experience in education and/or tech industry a plus
