We are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our client as a Barista at their cafe in Danau Poso, Sanur, Bali. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, have a positive attitude, and be able to handle a variety of tasks efficiently.
Job Description
- Beverage Preparation : Skillfully prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation for all customers.
- Food Service : Accurately take food orders, assist with basic food preparation (e.g., assembling salads, toasts, pre-made items), and serve meals efficiently.
- Customer Interaction : Greet all customers warmly, take orders precisely, process payments using the POS system, and provide friendly, efficient service in a potentially fast-paced setting.
- Cleanliness & Organization : Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized workstation, including equipment, counters, and the dining area, ensuring a pleasant environment for everyone.
- Stocking : Regularly restock display cases, condiments, and all necessary supplies to meet public demand.
- Cashiering : Handle cash and card transactions accurately and swiftly.
Requirements:
- Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience as a barista, preferably in a high-volume cafe or restaurant. Basic food preparation experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in espresso preparation, milk steaming, and basic latte art. Ability to follow recipes consistently and work quickly.
- Customer Service : Excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and cater to diverse customer needs.
- POS Proficiency : Comfortable operating Point-of-Sale systems for order taking and payments in a busy environment.
- Hygiene : Strong understanding and practice of basic food hygiene and cleanliness principles.
- Language : Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and capable of conversational English.
- Personal Attributes : Energetic, enthusiastic, reliable, punctual, a strong team player, eager to learn, and maintains a professional appearance suitable for public interaction.
