The role
As an Internal Audit Officer at PT Khong Guan Biscuit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's financial and operational processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices. Reporting to the Manager of Internal Audit, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits, identifying areas for improvement, and providing strategic recommendations to drive the organisation's continued success.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes
- Analyse financial data, operational records, and compliance documents to detect any irregularities or potential risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, document findings, and provide recommendations for process enhancements
- Prepare detailed audit reports that clearly communicate identified issues, root causes, and proposed solutions
- Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the internal audit function by identifying opportunities to enhance policies, procedures, and tools
- Provide training and guidance to business units on internal control best practices
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in internal audit, preferably within the manufacturing or consumer goods industry
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Proficient in using data analysis tools and audit software
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct
