Job description for Associate [Commercial Legal & FAT] at PT. ATP Corpora Internasional
Agus Trianto & Partners Law Office is currently seeking a qualified legal professional to join our team and be assigned to a retainer client in the retail sector, focusing on commercial legal matters.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- TOEFL score above 550.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, as well as financial and taxation regulations.
- Proven experience in handling contracts and complex commercial transactions.
- Experience in Commercial Legal work, particularly related to Finance, Accounting, and Tax, is a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of regulations issued by OJK, Bank Indonesia (BI), Directorate General of Taxes (DGT/DJP), and other relevant authorities is an advantage.
- Experience in leading or supervising a team is a plus.
- Capable of drafting and reviewing legal opinions, legal memoranda, and internal company policies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented, assertive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Willing to be assigned to a retainer client’s office located in South Jakarta.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute, supervise, and coordinate legal work for retainer clients in the retail sector, focusing on commercial legal matters related to the Finance, Accounting, and Tax division.
- Lead the process of drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing various types of commercial contracts related to FAT operational activities.
- Provide comprehensive legal support and opinions to clients regarding commercial transactions, financial engineering, tax engineering, and strategic projects within the FAT division to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and performance evaluation for Junior Associates to ensure high-quality team output.
- Ensure company compliance with applicable laws and regulations, particularly in the areas of finance and taxation.
- Assist and accompany clients during audits, tax examinations, and handle potential legal disputes that may arise.
- Act as the main point of contact between the company and external parties, including legal consultants, notaries, auditors, and regulators.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports and project progress updates to the Senior Associate, including team activities, achievements, and legal issues requiring further escalation.
