Position: AI-IoT Intern

Location: Singapore

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated AI-IoT Intern to join our innovative team at Groundup.Ai. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced data scientists and engineers to develop, build, validate, and deploy machine learning models, while exploring the world of AI and IoT solutions.

Responsibilities:

Develop, build, validate, test, and deploy new machine learning models alongside Groundup.Ai data scientists to solve challenging real-world problems.

Conceptualize high-level objects and then generate impactful insights by investigating datasets from multiple sources.

Orchestrate scenarios to run simulations to refine predictive models and machine learning algorithms.

Showcase findings and analysis.

Manage the site survey and installations of IoT devices and network infrastructure where required.

Provide timely and quality work progress updates to all internal colleagues.

Work closely with the internal IT team to ensure data collection and transmission to our software is stable.

Collect data readings from IoT devices and ensure data is accurate

Ensure timely completion of projects and engineering-related activities.

Collaborate with the internal IT team to resolve technical problems encountered during on-site survey/installation.

Perform in-depth troubleshooting of faults using appropriate equipment.

Perform other duties as required by the project teams.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and machine learning technologies.

Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.

Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database management.

Basic knowledge of machine learning models and data analytics.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Previous experience with IoT systems or data collection is a plus but not required.
