Position: Applied AI Engineer (Junior/Middle)

Position Type: Full-time

Working Location: Dong Hoa, HCMC (near National HCMCU)

Working Time: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

About The Role

We are building AI-powered products for real-world business use cases, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, and domain-specific model fine-tuning. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to build intelligent AI features, improve model quality through fine-tuning and evaluation, and deliver AI solutions that solve real customer problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AI-powered products using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for business applications.
• Build AI Agents and multi-step AI workflows for real-world use cases.
• Fine-tune domain-specific models using LoRA, QLoRA, PEFT, or similar approaches.
• Design, curate, and improve datasets for model training and evaluation.
• Build evaluation and benchmarking pipelines to measure AI quality and accuracy.
• Research and experiment with new AI techniques, open-source models, and agent-based systems.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver AI-powered features.
• Contribute to testing, documentation, and AI best practices.
• Mandatory Requirements
• Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Software Engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG systems.
• Experience building AI applications or AI-powered products in real-world environments.
• Familiarity with open-source LLMs such as Llama, Qwen, DeepSeek, Gemma, Mistral, or similar models.
• Experience with at least one of the following: LoRA/QLoRA fine-tuning, PEFT, AI evaluation and benchmarking, or dataset preparation for AI training.
• Good understanding of prompt engineering and AI application design.
• Good English reading and technical communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient in English communication

Nice To Have

Experience with AI Agents, LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, MCP, or similar frameworks.

Experience fine-tuning open-source models for domain-specific use cases.

Experience building evaluation and benchmark pipelines.

Experience with synthetic data generation and dataset curation.

Experience working with OCR, document processing, or knowledge extraction systems.

Experience contributing to open-source projects or AI communities.

Experience building AI products with active users.
