Job description for Speech & Drama Instructor (Freelance) at Metropolitan YMCA Singapore

We are looking for passionate freelance instructors to join our team to deliver children’s speech & drama classes and foster a love of language and theatre in the young learners.

Responsibilities

Deliver speech & drama curriculum / lesson plans appropriate for children
Prepare for classes, ensuring that children are well engaged and having fun during lessons
Handle all aspects of dramatization such as rehearsals, managing props, make-up costumes and stage directions
Communicate with parents on children’s progress

Requirements

Grade 7 certification in English Speech and Drama or an equivalent professional qualification from an established local / international institution
Prior experience with children’s speech & drama classes
Effective classroom management skills
Enthusiastic and committed individuals who are reliable and dedicated
MOE and PA-registered will be an advantage

Job Type: Freelance

Salary: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
