Associate - Green Transformation
The Associate will implement Greenwise Consulting (GWC) climate action and green investment projects, which includes thought leadership and research, collaborative initiatives, and advisory services work with companies. The successful candidate will work closely with the GWC team to build, align, and execute our portfolio of work.
This position is full-time, preferably based in Jakarta, and reports to the Director.
Responsibilities
Project Management and Implementation: The Associate will play a key role in delivery of consulting services, collaborative initiatives, and applied research on climate action and green financing. The successful candidate will design and manage projects for individual companies, implement projects with multiple workstreams, and will discover and operationalize synergies between research, collaboration, and advisory services work.
Thought Leadership: The Associate will keep up with the latest developments on private-sector climate action, identify leading topics, and contribute to GWC published thought leadership in the area.
Business Development: The Associate will assist with business development opportunities undertaken by the G-Wise team, including opportunities for funding or consulting work and the recruitment of member companies to our climate-facing collaborative Initiatives.
Result-Lean Management: The associate will fulfill OKR Associate by leading a cross functional work plan to achieve the company’s target. Provide contribution to the existing Company Operational Standards so that the company's operations are in accordance with lean management principles and customer journey is implemented with satisfactory results.
Must have:
- Bachelor or Master’ Degree from Economy and Management, Industrial engineering, Psychology with minor in organization development, Development studies, Social Politics.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the organizational and green sector.
- Acquainted with national standards such as ISO 14001 and international standards for mainstreaming ESG into business models such as GRI, CDP, SBTI, and others.
- Love managing projects and problem solving, demonstrated ability to manage long-term and shorter consultancy projects, to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, and to deliver for clients and funders.
- Capacity to work and thrive in a growing, fast-paced entrepreneurial organization with a collaborative environment.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Language skills: Fluent in English, verbal and written
