Job description for Video Editor (Remote in Malaysia) at Hydragun Pte Ltd
- Conceptualising D2C and performance marketing video ideas
- Work with marketing and media buying team to curate D2C and performance marketing video campaigns
- Create a storyboard or a split script before shooting or editing
- Edit videos for various online platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok)
- Research new editing styles and approaches that the team can utilize
- Provide feedback towards other team members while also being open to constructive criticism
- Designing and creating Graphics/Images with Photoshop
- Expert in at least 1 professional video editing software (E.g Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Expert in Adobe After Effects
- Proficient in sound and music design
- Proficient in typography motion graphic
- Expert in Adobe Photoshop
- Proficient in conceptualising and executing Direct-to-Consumer and Performance Marketing Ads
- Proficient in conceptualising and executing to narrative videos
- Storyboarding
- D2C and Performance Marketing video script writing
- High Proficiency in written English
- Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills and able to display good judgment and decision-making
- Able to solve problems creatively
- Strong leadership and management skills with positive influence over others
- Able to work autonomously and interdependently with the team without guidance or “hand holding”, yet not uncommunicative and operating in a silos
- Keep up with ever-changing trends in the digital marketing and online video space
- Experience in Direct-to-Consumer and Performance Marketing Ads to narrative videos
- Experience in creating video content for various platforms such as Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, etc
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Digifilm, Multi-Media Arts, Advertising, Marketing or any related course
- Graduate with honors or distinction from a reputable university is preferred
- Successful sales conversion in D2C and performance marketing videos
- Have work experience for D2C brand
- Experience in a video producer role
- Proficient in motion graphic
- Able to Illustrate and draw (in the event that we want to create illustrated graphics/images for Facebook & Instagram ads)
- Self-starter. Have started personal projects and seen it to completion with relative success
- Able to give and take feedback well
- Does some form of exercise at least 3 times a week
- Great leadership qualities
- Remote working experience with a team
