o Sales Forecast | Construct a bottom-up sales forecast supported by a comprehensive Trade Marketing Plan to meet quarterly and annual sales targets for the Modern Trade and General Trade retail portfolio. This includes National Key Accounts across Pharmacy, Hyper & Supermarket, Minimarket and Non Food as well as Local Key Accounts, Modern Trade Independent, Independent Pharmacies and Cosmetics stores.
o Trade Marketing Plan | Translate the campaign calendar from the Marketing team into a Trade Marketing Plan customized to retailer and store level, that achieves the above sales forecast. Trade Marketing includes the planning and implementation of product availability, product visibility, consumer/trade promotions, field team activity and frontliner engagement.
o Purchase & Sell Out | Achieve retailer purchasing and sell out according to target per sales channel for each product category.
o Joint Business Planning | Support the Account Management and Distribution Management team in negotiating strong partnerships for the execution of the Trade Marketing Plan. This includes product availability, frontliner engagement and product visibility through usage of product displays and various Point of Sale Materials.
o Field Team | Structure the job responsibilities of the field team, including Team Leaders, SPGs and (Sales) Merchandisers and work hand in hand with the Field Team Trainer to execute the TMP on store level.
o Budgeting | Undertake the actions above while managing a budget including Commercial Agreements, Product Returns, Materials and Manpower that turns Youvit’s sales operations profitable.
o Sell Through | Analyze brand sell through results in the Modern Trade and General Trade channel per category and make recommendations to increase results.
o Monitor | Monitor the execution of the Trade Marketing Plan, by means of on-shelf availability, installation of visibility and frontliner engagement. Improve upon the Trade Marketing strategy through iteration based upon these data driven learnings.
o Ranging | Organize optimal product assortment for products categories, product formats and pack sizes across Modern Trade and & General Trade retail to grow both customer acquisition and retention across SKUs.
o New Product | Create launch plan in support of New Product Development.
o New Channel | Create launch plan in support of New Channel Development like coffee shops, gyms and schools. Upon successful incubation of new channel, channel management is handed over to either Account Management or Distribution Management.
o Consumer / Trade Promotions | Develop consumer / trade promotions in collaboration with the Marketing Department and Sales Department and support the in-market execution.
o Planogram | Survey and report upon planogram arrangement to inform channel management team on planogram optimization. Assess existing share of space for Youvit and create plan to expand upon share of space versus competitors.
o Shoppers | Conduct regular surveys with shoppers to improve understanding of customers’ needs, preferences and behavior in order to exceed their expectations.
o Competitors | Identify competitors and potential partner brands and study their promotional activities, in-store activities, and campaigns.
o Market Trends | Stay up to date with market trends and how they impact store potential across sales channels.
o Manage | Manage the Channel Manager Modern Trade, Channel Manager General Trade and Field Team Executive supporting the set of responsibilities above.
o Teamwork | Undertake the above actions while working side by side with the Account Management team and the Distribution team.
o In-store Execution | Ensure in store sales and marketing promotions are properly executed and have a passion for being in the field and on the move 24/7!
