Job purpose
- The Therapy Aide supports and assists Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist in carrying out the required therapy for the clients.
Duties and responsibilities
- Conduct activities prescribed Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.
- Report clients’ rehabilitation progress to Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.
- Documentation of all activities conducted.
- Update monthly activity attendance.
- Display weekly activity schedule.
- Monitoring of vital signs before conducting any activities.
- Assist in toileting and showering. Training will be provided for showering of clients by OT.
- Maintain proper record and keeping of rehabilitation equipment and activity items.
- Other additional operational duties as assigned by Centre Manager.
Minimum Qualification Level
- Nitec, Certificate in Office Skills, NTC Grade 2 or equivalent
