Job description for Technical & Proposal Engineer at PT. Vector InfoTechnologies Indonesia
Job Descriptions:
- Plan site activities prior to mobilization.
- Review project technical documentations.
- Travel to project sites to perform commissioning and troubleshooting activities including: Inspecting equipment installation and wiring on-site, perform start up, testing and validation of system operations and troubleshooting, prepare testing reports, conduct training sessions for customers, preparing trip reports, prepare as-built documentation, reports daily work status updates to the Team Leader.
- Perform any other engineering duties as assigned by management.
- Provide essential pre-sales engineering support.
- Prepare project tender, assess technical requirements, customer specification review, vendor evaluations, costing estimates, specs configuration.
- Work closely with sales departments, customers & vendors on project specifications and clarifications during pre-sales or order negotiation process, assess and manage requests for proposal quotes on the supply of telecommunication solutions (example CCTV, PAGA, Radio & Telephone Systems).
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical/ Telecommunication/ IT Engineering, or any related major.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Willing and able to travel for site deployment on short notice.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, possess good command in written and spoken English.
