Job description for DevOps Engineer at Ledr
Responsiblity :
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them by analysing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Manage AWS infrastructure by: Creating new Virtual Machines (e.g.EC2 instances), set up load-balancers. Filter out bad traffic using security groups. Maintain the DNS records used by LEDR. Set up certificates in AWS for load balancers, Maintain Gitlab CI / CD pipeline, Automate routine DevOPS tasks, Web App Deployment, Applications building, Test suite invocation
- Containerize applications, Put applications into containers, Group containers using Kubernetes / Docker compose

Requirement :
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Mathematics.
- Ideally having experience with software development in one or more programming languages and has experience with data structures and/or algorithms. Requires experience managing Linux, AWS, Docker
- Ideally experienced with coding in Bash (Linux scripting language), Understanding Zshell and PowerShell are also bonuses
- Ideally experienced with Ubuntu, Other forms of Linux are a bonus as well
- Ideally experienced with networking, Network protocols (TCP, IP), Firewalls, DNS
- Ideally experienced with Dockerized systems, Docker containers, Kubernetes, Docker compose.
- Ideally having past experiences with cyber-security, Network administration with cyber-security experience is a plus
- Having past experience in Gitlab CI / CD is a plus
- Having experience in strongly typed programming languages (mainly Rust or Ada) is a plus
- Being able to work collaboratively in an international team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization.
