Job description for Software Engineering Instructor at Geekgarden
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development or software engineering.
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, training, bootcamp instruction, or technical knowledge sharing.
- Strong understanding of software development concepts and best practices.
- Experience with modern stacks such as: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, Java/Spring Boot, databases, REST APIs, Git, Docker, cloud platforms, or AI/LLM applications.
- Demonstrated portfolio of software projects, applications, or other technical work.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken is a must
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and support learners throughout the program.
- Able to work onsite for the duration of the program.
-Able to work onsite in Jababeka, Cikarang, Kab Bekasi, West Java
Responsibilities:
- The instructor will not be required to create training materials, as we already have our own curriculum
and learning materials. However, reviewing and providing quality assurance (QA) feedback on the
materials before publication may be required.
- Agree to participate in pre-class and post-class discussions/meetings when needed.
- Maintain attendance and punctuality throughout the on-site program.
- Achieve satisfactory instructor ratings based on trainee survey results.
- Support trainees by answering questions and assisting with capstone project delivery and completion.
- Submit a weekly meeting/report update.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for curriculum improvement based on classroom delivery,
trainee performance, and learning outcomes.
