Software Engineer (UI/UX & Quality Assurance)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Engineer (UI/UX & Quality Assurance) who is passionate about creating high-quality digital products from design to testing. You will be responsible for designing intuitive web and mobile experiences while ensuring every feature meets our quality standards before release. This role works closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers to deliver world-class software products.

Responsibilities

UI/UX Design

• Analyze business requirements and user needs.

• Create user flow, sitemap, customer journey, and information architecture.

• Design responsive websites for desktop, tablet, and mobile.

• Design Android and iOS mobile applications.

• Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes.

• Build interactive prototypes using Figma.

• Develop and maintain design systems and reusable UI components.

• Ensure design consistency across all products.

• Conduct usability testing and improve user experience based on feedback.

• Perform design handoff and collaborate closely with developers.

• Review implemented UI to ensure pixel-perfect execution.

Quality Assurance

• Review Product Requirement Documents, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Figma designs.

• Create Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases.

• Perform Manual Testing for web and mobile applications.

• Execute Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Integration Testing, and Exploratory Testing.

• Conduct Responsive Testing across multiple devices and browsers.

• Perform Android and iOS testing.

• Execute API Testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Verify UI implementation against design specifications.

• Create detailed bug reports with clear reproduction steps.

• Retest fixes and validate releases.

• Collaborate with developers throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

Must Have

• Minimum 2 years of experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or related roles.

• Strong experience using Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Prototype, Design System).

• Understanding of UI/UX principles.

• Strong knowledge of responsive web design.

• Experience designing websites and mobile applications.

• Able to create user flow, wireframe, and interactive prototypes.

• Strong understanding of typography, layout, spacing, hierarchy, color theory, and component-based design.

• Experience creating developer handoff documentation.

• Experience performing manual software testing.

• Able to create Test Plans, Test Cases, and Bug Reports.

• Understanding of SDLC and STLC.

• Experience with Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and Responsive Testing.

• Experience testing Android, iOS, and Web applications.

• Experience using API Testing tools (Postman preferred).

• Able to communicate effectively with Developers and Product Teams.

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

• Understanding of Sales Funnel and user conversion optimization.

• Good written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Basic HTML & CSS knowledge.

• Understanding of Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.

• Knowledge of Accessibility (WCAG).

• Experience with SaaS, ERP, CRM, Fintech, Banking, or E-commerce products.

• Experience with Automation Testing (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium).

• Basic SQL knowledge.

• Experience using BrowserStack, Firebase, TestFlight, JMeter, or k6.

• Familiar with Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or Hotjar.

• Experience using Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar project management tools.
