Social Media Content Creator
We are looking for a Content Creator to help us create original and engaging content for our social media projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for researching and turning content ideas into videos, images, infographics, and text captions. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are vital for success in this role. You will also be part of our social media team in creating and executing content calendars.
A demonstrated interest in current social media trends is required to be successful in this role. Experience with content creation would be a definite advantage.
Responsibilities
Research social media trends, and be familiar with content creation trends in terms of content creation (e.g. pope in the pool, tropes etc.) and editing (e.g. jump cuts, etc.)
Create various forms of social media content—text captions, videos, and
images—suitable for the various social media platforms, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube through CapCut, ProCreate, AfterEffects, or other similar software
Operate production equipment including cameras (DSLR, phones), microphones, lighting equipment, green screen, gimbals & tripods etc.
Publish posts according to the established social media content calendar
Work with the team to ensure content is relevant to clients’ brands and achieves engagement KPIs, through data analytics
Requirements
Academic qualifications are secondary - show us what you can do!
Demonstrated experience with content creation
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Comfortable with tight deadlines & multitasking
Able to physically carry and operate production equipment
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent editing software
Demonstrated knowledge of latest social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy
