Here at PolicyPal, we strive to provide opportunities for our team to learn, grow and thrive. You will be driving the company’s digital footprint, brand awareness and content marketing strategies including blogs and social media, working closely with a team of graphic designers and writers. You should be able to develop engaging content to attract, engage and retain customers. For this position, it’s also essential to be up-to-date with new technologies and marketing trends.
Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy and Management
- Design content marketing strategies and initiatives to achieve business targets, including traffic, engagement, acquisition and customer retention
- Collaborate across departments to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan
- Have a brand publisher mindset, to create the content our audience is looking for and optimise the path to conversion
- Develop editorial calendar, delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met
- Manage digital content hubs and channels, including email, newsletters and social media channels
- Understand the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why
- Content Production / SEO Know-How
- Have a working understanding of SEO, content categorisation, content development, distribution and measurement
- Be the brand guardian and ensure the content created is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone
- Collaborate with design and writing teams to produce high-quality content
- Measurement and Optimisation
- Monitor and analyse web traffic and social media metrics
- Measure, optimise, improve and repurpose content on a regular and ongoing basis
- Support and manage ad hoc key projects and/or marketing initiatives
- Support in requests related to data crunching and analysis.
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent working experience
- Prior SEO experience is highly preferred with the ability to demonstrate measurable results from previous work experience in marketing
- Proficiency in WordPress, HubSpot or other Content Management Software
- Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
- Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
- Ability to analyse and present content and social performance
- Understanding of web publishing requirements
- Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
