Job description
We are looking for a talented Senior Data Analyst who has hands-on experience building ETL pipelines and visualising data using modern tools.
What we offer is the chance to drive the data strategy within the organization and across the products. You've worked in an Agile product development team before and understand how to align the data with the needs of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create necessary data pipelines and ETL processes
- Run data integrity validation and management of databases
- Create and maintain custom views, ad-hoc analysis, dashboards and report sets utilizing business intelligence tools, data visualization tools and SQL scripts
- Design data models for mission-critical and high volume data management, real-time and distributed data process aligning with the business requirements
- Work with business units on their analytics initiatives
- Maintains documentation of data architecture, data sources and data flows
Key Skills:
- BS or MS in Data Analytics, business analytics, information technology or similar disciplines with a focus on data analytics and insights
- Proficiency in SQL and database design concepts (SQL, NoSQL)
- Basic knowledge of Python/Java
- Experience with ETL platforms and ETL workflow design and execution
- Experience with data visualization tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, Looker, Holistics
- Experience with data quality control and normalization
- Experience with cloud-based environments
- Ability to work as part of a self-directed team, where you determine your tasks on a daily basis in coordination with co-workers, rather than waiting for work to be assigned to you
- Demonstrated creative, innovative and out of the box thinking
- Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
Requirements:
- Candidate should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field
