Job description for Senior Accountant & Tax Consultant at PT Swasti Tumbuh Lestari
PT. Swasti Tumbuh Lestari is a fast-growing business consulting that focuses on delivering high quality services to PMA in Indonesia. We are currently seeking high quality candidates to fill in the (1) Senior Accounting Consultant and (2) Junior Accounting Consultant.
1. Senior Accounting Consultant
General work scope:
- Lead monthly and year-end financial closing processes for clients.
- Review and finalize general ledger, trial balance, and financial statements.
- Provide advisory on accounting treatment based on PSAK.
- Manage and supervise junior consultants in day-to-day engagements.
- Handle client communication and manage deliverables timeline.
- Assist in tax audit, objection, or appeal processes.
- Conduct internal reviews to ensure the accuracy and quality of deliverables.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Fiscal Administration;
- Tax Brevet A&B is preferred.
- Proficient in English (writing, reading, and speaking).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting and taxation, preferably in a consulting or public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of PSAK and preferably also of Indonesian Tax Law.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical thinking, leadership, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
2. Junior Accounting Consultant
Job Description:
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Support in bookkeeping and data entry in accounting systems (e.g., Accurate, Jurnal, etc.).
- Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns (e.g., PPh 21, 23, 25, 4(2), and VAT).
- Maintain organized and complete accounting records and documentation.
- Assist in handling tax administration (Coretax, EFIN, e-bupot, e-filing, e-faktur).
- Support consultants in audit engagements.
- Liaise with clients for basic financial and tax data collection.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax and accounting regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Fiscal Administration (minimum SMK accounting; D3 and S1 are preferred). Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting and/or tax.
- Basic understanding of Indonesian tax regulation (e.g. PPh and PPN).
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Willingness to learn, good attention to detail, and ability to work under supervision.
- Strong ethics, integrity, and team collaboration.
