Position: Retail Promoter
Location: Kuala Lumpur (shopping malls, supermarkets, retail kiosks)
Contract Type: Freelance/Full-Time/Part-Time
Salary/Pay: Base pay RM12/hour + High Commission structure

Role Summary
The Retail Promoter is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, driving sales conversion, maintaining product display standards, and representing the brand in retail stores or event locations. This role is critical in creating a positive first impression and ensuring customers understand the benefits and uniqueness of the products.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Greet customers, introduce products, and explain key features and benefits.
- Drive sales through product recommendations, upselling, and sampling (where applicable).
- Maintain excellent customer service and ensure a positive brand experience.
Merchandising & Outlet Presentation
- Ensure shelves and displays are neat, fully stocked, and aligned with planogram.
- Perform daily stock checks and communicate replenishment needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and visual merchandising standards at all times.
Sampling & Demos (if applicable)
- Conduct product sampling safely and hygienically.
- Track sampling quantities and customer responses.
Reporting
- Record daily sales and customer feedback.
- Report stock levels, issues, and competitor activities.
Operational Duties
- Set up and pack down booth displays for events.
- Comply with retailer SOPs and brand guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Experience as a promoter, retail assistant, or front-line sales (preferred but not required).
- Friendly, proactive, and comfortable engaging with customers.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physically fit to stand long hours.
- Good communication skills in English/BM; Mandarin is an advantage.
