React Native Developer, Wildcats
About the React Native Developer Role
The React Native Developer at Wildcats is one of the miracle workers of all things Wildcats. The Wildcats leadership aims to reinvent the way that Gen Zs connect and inspire passion and action across business and society, and we need ambitious and creative miracle workers to contribute to both idea development and implementation in order for our vision to become reality.
As a member of a small team, you'll partner with our product manager, UI/UX designers, and other developers and play a crucial role in helping plan, develop, and ship new features to our iOS, Android, and web platforms. This is a great moment to join our team and work on a new product in a stable, purpose-driven company. Our team is small, so there's plenty of room and support to grow your skills and shape the development practices on your team and beyond.
As a Wildcat, you will be challenged daily to initiate and explore new ideas, and experiment through development and co-creation. This role is guaranteed to involve, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Work with a talented team of front- and back-end engineers to build and maintain products.
- Build cutting-edge mobile applications for our clients across iOS, Android, or React Native
- Work with and learn from a smart, motivated team
- Build and ship reliable software leveraging automated testing and Continuous Delivery
Wildcats are Global; we are mostly based within Southeast Asia, but as long as you are willing to work mainly in Southeast Asian hours (GMT +8), you are welcome to be a Wildcat too!
About the Stack
We have a small and handy technology stack. Our platforms were built on the cloud, and our vision is to be able to make changes in our code base anytime, anywhere.
We utilize these main platforms and tools: Typescript, React, Node, AWS, Git, and MongoDB. We also use Figma, Miro, and Jira for design, collaboration, and project management. As an innovation-driven outfit, we constantly experiment with new tools and software that could better meet our development, engineering, design, collaboration, or management needs.
About what you need to be successful in this role

We guess you are waiting for some requirements?
- You have 2+ years of experience with at least one of the following: React Native, Native iOS, Native Android
- You have 4+ years of professional programming experience (in any language)
- Flutter experience is a plus
- You don’t afraid to break things; we encourage risk-takers
- You care about quality and know what it means to ship high-quality code
- You are fluent in English, Singlish, or Bahasa.
