JOB DESCRIPTION
RESEARCH & ADVOCACY OFFICER
UNIT/DEPARTMENT: TRACK SDGs
TYPE: CONTRACT (11 MONTHS)
I. ROLE: Under the direct supervision of the TRACK SDGs Project Lead (Technical Policy Officer), the Research & Advocacy Officer will assist in conducting research, drafting policy papers, and developing a SDGs data monitoring platform on TRACK SDGs.
III. JOB DESCRIPTION
Research & Data Analysis
● Designing a research framework related to SDGs data monitoring
● Collect and analyze data related to SDGs to be processed into policy recommendations and interactive dashboards
● Design and conduct surveys to mapping public perceptions and understandings of SDGs and decade of action
● SDGs data monitoring research framework
● Policy report on SDGs data monitoring
● Develop an existing TRACK SDGs monitoring dashboard
● Survey results and analysis
Advocacy
● Develop strategies and advocacy plans for monitoring SDGs data
● Provide strategic advice to Project Lead or other divisions regarding SDGs data monitoring
● Coordinating with the communications team for the report dissemination, press releases, and media campaigns related to SDGs monitoring
● Develop policy recommendations and coalitions to support advocacy work in projects
● Policy recommendations
● Network of partnerships and coalitions to encourage the availability and monitoring of SDGs data
● Supporting campaign products related to SDGs monitoring and decade of action
Administrative and Other Support
● Ensure project implementation and delivery are on schedule and on target
● Assisting the technical implementation of other TRACK SDGs project activities
● Updated weekly to-do-list
● Updated work plan
● Build formal communication with partners/coalitions and other stakeholder
V. Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications
● Minimum Bachelor degree from economics, social and political science, public health, communications, or other relevant background study
● Minimum 3 years experience in advocacy or social campaign
● Possess an advanced skill in STATA
● Experience in analyzing big data in Indonesia is an advantage
● Familiar with google data studio
● Ability to quickly adapt to change
● Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
● Having good developed oral communication and presentation skills will be an advantage

Indonesia Youth Forum adalah suatu wadah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan partisipasi pemuda dalam pembangunan dengan dikumpulkannya berbagai komunitas dan tokoh pemuda untuk berjejaring, berdiskusi, dan bertukar-pikiran. Advokasi, kampanye, dan sosialisasi Agenda Pembangunan Paska-2015 dilakukan untuk memastikan publik mengetahui apa yang termasuk dalam proses ini, dan bagaimana setiap aktor pembangunan dan pemangku kepentingan bisa terlibat didalamnya. Peta Kemitraan adalah peta online terkonsolidasi yang menjelaskan detil dinamika pembangunan di tiap wilayah Indonesia. Peta ini digunakan untuk memetakan kebutuhan pembangunan apa saja yang diperlukan tiap provinsi di Indonesia, dan aktor apa saja yang sudah berinovasi di wilayah tersebut. CISDI juga terlibat dalam beberapa projek konsultasi dengan Kementerian Kesehatan serta UNAIDS.
