Job description for Quality Auditor at Công ty TNHH Shelby Global
Location: Quang Chau Industrial Park, Viet Yen Town, Bac Giang Province, Vietnam
What You Will Be Doing
- Conduct scheduled audits of CEM manufacturing lines, processes, and supplier sites following established plans and checklists.
- Perform Out-of-Box Inspections on materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and workmanship standards.
- Execute In-Process Quality Audits on production floors, identifying deviations, workmanship issues, and potential risks.
- Support SQE engineers in data collection, analysis, and reporting (defect rates, audit findings, trend analysis).
- Verify corrective actions, process changes, and quality improvements with CEM and supplier teams.
- Prepare clear audit reports, non-conformance records, and track follow-up actions.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including NVIDIA SQE, CEM quality, and supplier representatives.
What We Need to See
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing engineering.
- Familiarity with quality audit methodologies (process, product, system audits).
- Basic knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes (SMT, assembly, testing, packaging).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection standards.
- Strong observation, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) for communication with global teams.
- Willingness to travel to CEM and supplier sites within Vietnam and occasionally abroad.
Ways to Stand Out
- Hands-on experience in electronic product manufacturing (PCB/PCBA, servers, networking, GPUs, consumer electronics).
- Background in quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Practical knowledge of quality tools: 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, SPC, MSA.
- Certified internal auditor credentials (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949).
- Prior experience with tier-1 CEMs (Foxconn, Quanta, Wistron, Pegatron) or major component suppliers.
- Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600).
- Experience working with Supplier Quality Engineering teams in a multinational environment.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
