Job Requirements – Industrial Data Historian Engineer / IT-OT Specialist
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or other related technical disciplines.
- Experience working in the Oil & Gas industry environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with AVEVA Historian.
- Good understanding of SCADA systems and industrial automation environments.
- Knowledge and experience with PLC and DCS systems integration and data acquisition architecture.
- Experience with industrial data historians, real-time data collection, and pipeline data management.
- Understanding of Data Acquisition (DAQ) architecture and OT data communication protocols.
- Familiar with IT/OT infrastructure and industrial network environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills related to industrial systems and production data pipelines.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Requirements
- Possess valid HSE certifications relevant to offshore operations.
- Offshore safety certifications such as BOSIET or HUET are preferred.
- Possession of H2S certification is mandatory or highly preferred depending on project requirements.
Personnel Qualifications
Project Manager
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT/OT infrastructure or software development projects within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Responsible for overall project delivery, schedule management, stakeholder coordination, and resource allocation.
- Experienced in managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring contractual deliverables are achieved on time and within scope.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Lead Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical fields.
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience in industrial data historian platforms and real-time operational data management.
- Strong experience in data acquisition (DAQ) architectures and industrial communication systems.
- Experienced in managing production data pipelines and ensuring data integrity across OT environments.
- Capable of providing technical leadership, solution design, and guidance to engineering and implementation teams.
