Job description for Product Manager at Doctor Assist Indonesia

Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Management Trainee to join our Digital Process Optimization team. The successful candidate will embark on a structured development program, gaining hands-on experience across various departments to understand the challenges and inefficiencies in our current digital processes. This role will focus on data safety, improving work productivity, and enhancing the user-friendliness of internal systems and platforms.

Through cross-functional rotations and mentorship, you will learn how to assess, propose, and implement digital solutions that optimize our internal operations. After completing this cross-functional training, you will be equipped to consult on optimizing digital processes both internally and for external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Vision & Strategy Translation:

• Partner closely with founders and leadership to understand, refine, and translate the company's strategic vision into a clear, actionable product strategy and roadmap.

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback sessions to validate and enhance strategic ideas, ensuring they are viable, valuable, and user-centric.

• Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap that balances innovation, user needs, and business objectives.

2. Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution:

• Act as the central point of contact and lead between engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams throughout the product lifecycle.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate customer and business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Facilitate agile development processes, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery that aligns with the roadmap.

3. User-Centric Design & Feature Prioritization:

• Leverage strong UI/UX sensibility to advocate for and define intuitive, user-friendly designs that communicate effectively across diverse user roles (doctors, admins, patients).

• Prioritize features and backlog items using a structured, analytical mindset, focusing on impact, effort, and strategic alignment.

• Ensure all product developments adhere to healthcare compliance standards and data security protocols (e.g., PDPA).

4. Deep Customer & Market Insight:

• Lead extensive customer requirement studies through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to deeply understand clinical workflows, pain points, and psychology.

• Synthesize qualitative feedback and quantitative data into actionable insights to inform product decisions, improve user adoption, and ensure product-market fit.

• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings.

5. Product Launch & Go-to-Market:

• Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies, positioning, and launch plans.

• Create comprehensive product documentation, training materials, and sales enablement tools.

• Monitor launch performance and user feedback to iterate and improve subsequent releases.

6. Product Lifecycle Management:

• Manage the product throughout its entire lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch, growth, and iteration.

• Analyze product performance metrics and user engagement data to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.

• Communicate product progress, decisions, and roadmap updates clearly to all stakeholders.

Requirements:

Must-Have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in healthcare technology, SaaS, or B2B software.

• Strong UI/UX sensibility and experience, with the ability to translate user needs into intuitive product designs and communicate effectively with design and development teams.

• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a strong logic and structured mindset.

• Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.

Added Knowledge / Advantage

• Extensive experience in customer requirement study and a deep understanding of customer psychology to drive product decisions and user adoption.

• Proven ability to absorb, challenge, and improve high-level vision or ideas, translating them into a viable, structured product strategy.

• Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Productboard).

• Knowledge of healthcare workflows, clinic operations, or relevant regulations (e.g., PDPA, GDPR).

• Familiarity with data security principles and cloud-based software architectures.
