Job description:
- Manage account set up, payment, clearing, settlement products process in trading of securities and mutual funds, including translate product strategy and function into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services. Conduct regular market research to continually improve existing business processes and increase the attractiveness of product offerings
- Gathering and prioritizing customer requirements based on business and customer impact to create winning products
- Drive product launches including working with other product management team members
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
- Identify the desired product outcomes (based on platform strategy) and work with internal partners to identify and detail the technical solution
Requirements:
- MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
- Three years experience working as a product manager in securities or investment company, proven work experience in product management or as a product manager
- Strong experience in online payments or clearing &settlement or securities account management.
- Ability to read and understand APIs and workflows, experience gathering business requirements and turning them into detailed technical requirements
- Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience in securities trading
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Chinese/Mandarin speaking is preferred
- Believe in client first, valuing user experience and feedback, attention to details.
