Role Overview
The Preschool Teacher will play a critical role in facilitating high-quality early childhood education through developmentally appropriate practices. The role requires a strong commitment to nurturing each child’s holistic development while fostering a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with the Hoplin Learning Framework
- Facilitate purposeful play and inquiry-based learning to support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Establish a positive, nurturing, and well-managed classroom environment
- Observe, assess, and document children’s progress, providing meaningful feedback to parents
- Build strong partnerships with parents to support each child’s learning journey
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in implementing thematic learning cycles (HOPS) and school programmes
- Uphold the school’s values, standards, and professional expectations at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience in Early Childhood / Preschool settings
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related discipline
- Demonstrated passion for working with young children and supporting their development
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Professional, responsible, and able to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
