Job description for Pre-Sales Consultant at VisionTech Pte. Ltd.

Job Overview:

As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for engaging and following up with clients on selected and qualified opportunities to help drive deal closures and contract awards. You will support the entire sales lifecycle, from gathering client requirements to developing technical solution proposals and presentations. Your role involves close collaboration with the Account Managers, Service Delivery, and Product Development teams to ensure accurate technical and functional alignment with client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

● Client Engagement: Lead pre-sales activities to engage clients, gather and clarify requirements, and support the sales team throughout the lifecycle of the opportunity.

● Requirements Gathering: Work closely with Account Managers to solicit and gather client requirements, establish a baseline, and use it to develop technical write-ups and specifications as inserts for proposals.

● Proposal and Presentation Support: Prepare high-level conceptual solution descriptions, functional specifications, entity relationship diagrams, business workflows, project schedules, and other relevant materials for proposals. Also, create and deliver compelling presentation materials tailored to client needs.

● Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product development roadmap and industry-specific technological advancements. Conduct product demonstrations and application walkthroughs for potential clients, ensuring competency across assigned customer industry segments.

● Solution Development: Collaborate with the Service Delivery and Product Development teams to generate proposed solution write-ups, including functional and technical specifications, success factors, dependencies, and high-level project plans.

● Client Presentations: Actively participate in client proposal presentations, providing technical clarifications, answering questions, and refining proposed solutions based on feedback from clients and internal stakeholders.

● Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and technological developments relevant to your assigned segments to help position the company’s solutions competitively.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

● 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical sales role.

● Strong understanding of software development, IT systems, and business process workflows.

● Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

● Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions.

● Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales, product development, and service delivery teams.

IT Literacy: Microsoft office suite, Google functionalities, Adobe Photoshop, various other designing tools and online team collaboration tools.
