Job description for Penetration Tester - Intern at Bouygues Construction IT Vietnam
We are looking for a motivated Penetration Testing Intern who is eager to gain hands-on exposure to cybersecurity operations and penetration testing projects. In this role, you will support the Penetration Testing team by coordinating daily activities, understanding testing workflows, and assisting with documentation and project tracking.
This internship is designed for students who are passionate about cybersecurity and want to learn how penetration testing projects are delivered in a real business environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Support the coordination of daily activities within the Penetration Testing team.
- Assist in tracking project progress, schedules, and task assignments.
- Help organize project documentation, test reports, and internal knowledge materials.
- Learn and understand the end-to-end penetration testing process and project lifecycle.
- Observe and familiarize yourself with different penetration testing methodologies, tools, and deliverables.
- Communicate with team members to ensure information is properly documented and shared.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- Third- or fourth-year university student majoring in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, especially Security Operations Center (SOC) or network security.
- Strong interest in penetration testing and ethical hacking.
- Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Good organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn new technologies and security practices.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
