Job description
Summary
To manage the material flow for both inbound and outbound shipments to and from the Asia Pacific Regions, to Americas, Europe and Intra- Asia regions providing end-to-end shipments visibility to our customer. Primary function includes order and supplier follow up, transportation, load-tendering, ASN management, exception, disruption and carrier’s management. Maintain and provide timely and accurate shipments visibility as per customer’s requirements.
Responsibilities
Supplier and Order Management
- Supplier follow up; contacting/communicating with suppliers to ensure they are shipping to their weekly schedule, meeting Customer's business role
- Report and record any noncompliance in the system following Customer's business rules
- Check supplier documentation (invoice, etc) on correctness of the order and other requirements
- Create and sent timely Pre-advise (arranging the pick-ups in the system) or pick up request for air and ocean shipments. In order to coordinate and instruct carriers and freight forwarders
- Provide 24/7 support & backup coverage
Requirements
