ManageEngine is the IT management division of Zoho Corporation and is a recognized leader in the IT management space. We've been witnessing phenomenal growth and to keep up with the demand we are doubling down on our hiring. The central marketing team is a group within ManageEngine, dedicated to marketing world class enterprise IT solutions, across 190 countries. We are seeking a talented, self-motivated and dedicated PR and content executive to join our media relations team, and work on innovative PR campaigns and strategies.
This role will support various corporate communications functions including content writing, public relations, media relations, analyst, influencer relations and customer advocacy. It offers a hands-on opportunity to learn about each of these responsibilities.
The candidate will have to accommodate overlapping work hours with Indian time zone (IST)
Working with the global PR team to amplify the share of voice in the local media - both new and traditional media
Tracking the trending technology and security topics in Malaysia and Southeast Asia
Contributing to writing script/ideation for video interviews, chats, podcasts, thought leadership articles, press releases, pitch notes and more
Experience in ghostwriting for executives
Localize our global content (articles, press releases, Q&As) and bring in the regional context. This includes re-purposing existing content, translating English content to local language, and/or reviewing content received from PR or translation agencies.
Maintaining and nurturing relationship with ManageEngine's media contacts in Malaysia
Interested in pursuing a career within the corporate communication function
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Malaysia and English
Pre-existing relationships with journalists from IT, business and mainline media
Research-oriented, and keen understanding of the IT/Technology landscape
On the top of relevant technology trends
Able to work independently with proper guidance and instructions
Ability to strategize and create content and messaging relevant to the target audience
Driven, motivated, self-starter who is eager to learn and grow as a corporate communications professional
A candidate with 5-8 years experience in PR/content writing, marketing industry
Experience of working in corporate media relations or in a PR agency in the tech sector with good media contacts.
Proven experience writing high-quality blogs and articles
Strategic thinker with creative and detailed execution skills, with an innate attention to detail.
Should have a good understanding of our key markets in South-East Asia - Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand.
Ability to manage time and multiple priorities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.
