Job description for Merchandiser at PT Ameya Livingstyle Indonesia

Communicate clearly & efficiently with buyer to meet buyers requirement; Follow up with the suppliers; Following up on every pre-production process up to production and shipment for the work process of each order to be completed in accordance with the agreed timeline

QUALIFICATION:

1 - 2 years experience as Merchandiser in Garmen industry
IGTC, AK-Tekstil and Fresh graduate from any major; preferably from Gament Production, Fashion, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Communication or Management are welcome to apply
Fluent in English both oral and written is a must
Self-motivated and passionate
Fast learner and have strong analytical thinking
Have a good communication and leadership skill
Willing to be placed in Bantul, Yogyakarta

Yogyakarta which has a reputation for being a centre of education, availability of skilled manpower combined with a low minimum wage and close access to the seaport in the city of Semarang made it an ideal choice to start manufacturing facility.

The part one of the project was finished in year 2007 and production started in year 2008. The second part of the construction started in Year 2008 with an intention to add additional Production capacity, Sample room, Laundry, Water treatment, Printing and Embroidery facilities.
