The Role
The Merchandise Data Analyst researches and explores data-based information using data analysis tools. The goal of a Merchandise Data Analyst is to share meaningful insights from data to sell the right items and set optimum pricing to optimize sales & transactions at our vending machines
The Job Functions
- Create reports using google data studio and MySQL
- Decide what product, what price, and promotions on vending machines
- Increase product sales of vending machine by 20% every month in our overall portfolio of stores
- Create presentation and recommendations for external clients to help them improve product variety, pricing, and promotion.
- Use external data such as weather, foot traffic, events to predict consumber behaviour and create promotion campaigns
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree / S1 / S2, preferably in Business/Marketing, Information Technology / systems, Computer Science, Economics or Mathematics.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
- Proficient with Excel and Slides, Google data studio
- Data processing experience in Python & R
- Web development experience in HTML5, CSS, Node JS experience a plus.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
