THE ROLE
The MARKETING MANAGER is responsible for building Cocomi as the inspiring, friendly, youthful and trendy Omni-channel retailer brand targeting GenZ and Young Millenials mainly in Malaysia. The Marketing Manager shall work closely with Cocomi Regional management team members and our brand principals to plan, implement and manage marketing campaign for both Malaysia and Singapore markets. The ideal candidate will have experience in traditional marketing, social marketing, in-store activation and possess strategic thinking and communication skills.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies to deliver business targets for Cocomi Omni-channel retailer brand and its strategic brands in terms of revenue growth and market shares in Malaysia & Singapore
- Take responsibilities and implement marketing campaigns in collaboration with E-commerce, Retail, Wholesale and Merchandising teams to drive integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences and sales across channels
- Implement high standards of personalized CRM programs based on clear shoppers’ segmentation and insights
- Manage marketing budgets and maximize efficiency
- Analyze consumer trends, market insights and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential threats
- Use data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with media/ press and key influencers in the industry
- Manage and coordinate the creation of all marketing collateral required by the business, including social content, visual guidelines, POSM for both Cocomi brand and for retailers and wholesales
- Organize and execute events and trade activities to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Support in execution work for mall-related marketing campaigns that our retail stores participate in
- Conduct market research and data analysis to understand omni-channel consumers’ insights and generate creative and relevant Marketing campaign ideas and concepts.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of managerial experience in Brand Marketing, especially in Retail and Fashion industry with proven tracks of international exposure
- Solid experiences in Digital Marketing, Social Media, Content and Influencing Marketing with relevant experiences in Omni-Channel retail model
- Strong sense of Fashion accessories industry in the Region
- Agile, Creativity, Continuous Improvement & Initiative Driving are a must
- A solid team player equipped with a strong collaboration spirit with cross-functional teams in multicultural environment
- Result-oriented with strong growth and ROI-focused marketing mindsets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong in project management and agency leadership
- Effective and engaging communication skills with both external and internal customers.
