Job description for Manufacturing Engineer (10 pax, Aerospace / Precision) at QuEST Global Services Pte Ltd
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Read and understand the Engineering and Stage drawings
- Understand all GD&T symbols to be able to read apply for CNC programming.
- Create the Offline CNC programs using UG NX 7.5/8.5/10 and above for Aerospace components
- Component prove out on Machining, Turning and Turn mill and 5 Axis centers
- Readout CNC codes including probing cycles for program creation
- Simulation using Vericut software and beginner level knowledge on Machine and Control building in Vericut
- Strong fundamental knowledge in Manufacturing Engineering
- Generate 3D models using NX
Requirement:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering or related courses
- Atleast 4 years of relevant experience as CNC Programmer/Manufacturing/Production Engineer
- Read and understand the Engineering and Stage drawings
- Understand all GD&T symbols to be able to read apply for CNC programming.
- Offline CNC programs using UG NX 8.5/9/10and above for Aero-engine and Structural components is mandatory
- Knowledge of Team center functions will be
- Hands-on Experience of Component prove out on Machining, Turning and Turn-mill centers
- Hands-on Experience in Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain Controls is Mandatory
- Thorough knowledge of Cutting tools and fluids
- Ability to readout CNC codes including probing cycles.
- Simulation using Vericut software and beginner level knowledge on Machine and Control building in Vericut is Mandatory
- Strong fundamental knowledge in Manufacturing Engineering
- Should be proficient enough to generate 3D models using NX
- All these work should be self-engineered, mistake-proof and a ready to use output. Should be proficient to use and implement tollgate systems and be able to perform self-defect management – with problem-solving ability.
- Optimization in Programming and machining techniques
- Awareness of aerospace quality requirements
