Job description for Legal Officer at Jack
- Assist day to day legal advice and assistance to suit business needs across all departments and functions
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as lawyers, notaries, and government authorities when necessary
- Draft, review, solidify and negotiate various range of contracts, agreements, other legal documents within the team and external parties
- Give continued support on the creation, standardization and implementation of legal compliance, policies, terms & conditions, internal working procedures and standard operational guidelines
- Responsible for Company's Legal Identities and documentations
- Legal Document Repository - Manage and oversee the Company's commercial contracting purposes, including contract forms, legal contracts repository, and any collateral documents and/or certificate
- Bachelor of Law from a reputable university
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a Law Firm with a combination of working experience from Bank or Fintech Company (Payment, E-Money, or E-Wallet)
- Good legal knowledge for corporate law and analytical interpretation of business structure (both technical and operational aspects)
- Highly responsible, motivated and independent
- Ability to adapt, work as a team and willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Collaborative, hard working, easy-going and a team worker
- Ability to lead and/or organize a project, work effectively within the team and across multi-function in the company, and maintain a fun and positive attitude
