Job description for Interior Designer at Engine Room Global
Job Descriptions:
1. Provide design support for offices globally from concept to completion
- Produce Design Presentation
- Produce construction documentation
- Produce 3D visualizations
2. Ensure agreed design process is being followed
- Ensure design and documentation outcome is completed to the greater group standard & quality
- Filling timesheet daily
- Ensure Design Director is kept abreast of the relevant projects
3. Account management
- To be the main point of contact for specific projects
- Ensure to maintain greater group standard & quality & meet deadlines
- Project management
4. Participate in continuous process improvement activities
- Participate in training program
- Actively participate in the Annual Performance Review
- Proactively promote and role model safety in the workplace
5. Assist with general design duties
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in interior designer role within retail and/or hospitality sectors
- Advanced knowledge of design processes, FF&E, specifications, colour & materials
- Fully proficient in ArchiCAD, Adobe Ps, Ai, Id, SketchUp,
- Ability to produce presentation quality hand-sketches
- Ability & flexibility to manage projects concurrently & at various stages of development
- Ability to lead, work autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate design ideation & direction quickly & concisely
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication & relationship management skills
- Excellent presentation skills & attributes
