Role Overview
We are looking for a Host Live Team Lead who is not only experienced in live streaming operations, but also understands how to grow traffic, engagement, conversion, and GMV through live commerce.
This role will act as the bridge between hosts, marketing, and e-commerce, ensuring live sessions are not just running smoothly but performing better every week.
Key Responsibilities
Live Performance & Growth
1. Design and execute live streaming strategies that improve:
- Viewer count & retention
- Engagement (comments, interaction, CTR)
- Conversion rate & GMV
2. Continuously analyze live performance data and turn insights into actionable improvements (flow, pacing, CTA, product sequencing, scripts).
3. Live Planning & Execution
- Plan live schedules, formats, and content flow (opening hook, product storytelling, closing push).
- Ensure live sessions run smoothly from pre-live preparation to post-live evaluation.
4. Collaborate with Marketing & E-commerce teams to align live themes with campaigns, promos, and product priorities.
5. Host Development & Quality Control
- Set clear quality standards for live hosting (communication, storytelling, pacing, visual presence).
- Coach and guide hosts with constructive feedback to continuously improve performance.
- Identify gaps in host skills and proactively suggest training or adjustments.
6. Brand & Audience Experience
- Ensure consistency in brand tone, visual presentation, and messaging across all live sessions.
- Actively think of ideas to make live streams more engaging, structured, and enjoyable for audiences.
- Maintain professionalism and uphold company standards during all live activities.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree (any major).
2. Minimum 1 year experience in live streaming, e-commerce, or digital marketing (experience in beauty, retail, or FMCG is a strong plus).
3. Strong understanding of live commerce dynamics: traffic, engagement, conversion, and sales behavior.
4. Confident communicator with the ability to guide, coach, and collaborate across teams.
5. Comfortable using TikTok Live Dashboard, e-commerce tools, and basic reporting/analysis.
6. Creative, proactive, and solution-oriented.
7. Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment.
8. Willing to work on-site in Malang (WFO).
