Part-Time Home Educator for Two Children
English Curriculum, Reading, Maths & Project-Based Learning
We are looking for a warm, creative, and experienced educator to work with our two children in a home-based learning environment in Ubud, Bali. We are a native English speaking family.
This role is ideal for a qualified teacher or experienced tutor who loves helping children learn through engaging, hands-on projects rather than just worksheets.
About the Role
You will work with two children (primary school age 5yrs, 9yrs) for approximately 3 hours per day, helping them develop skills in:
English reading and writing
Mathematics
Science and STEM
Bahasa
Creative project-based learning
Critical thinking and problem-solving
The goal is to create a fun, structured, and inspiring learning experience using an English-language curriculum.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English
Follow and adapt an age-appropriate curriculum ( We can purchase curriculum materials if required)
Create hands-on projects and activities
Support reading, writing, and maths development
Track progress and provide feedback to parents
Foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence
Ideal Candidate
Fluent or native-level English speaker
Teaching qualification preferred
Experience teaching children in primary school
Familiar with Australian, British, or international curricula
Creative, patient, and organized
Passionate about project-based learning
Comfortable working in a family home environment
Schedule
Approximately 3 hours per day
5 days per week (flexible for the right candidate)
Based in Ubud, Bali
Compensation
