Key Responsibilities
- Teach History subjects to Senior High School students in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, assessments, and instructional resources.
- Deliver engaging, student-centered, and inquiry-based learning experiences.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Promote critical thinking, historical analysis, and research skills.
- Integrate educational technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
- Maintain a positive and effective classroom environment.
- Participate in school events, meetings, professional development activities, and other assigned duties.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in History Education, History, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience at the secondary or high school level is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of world history, modern history, and historical research methodologies.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficient in using technology to support teaching and learning.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Passion for education and commitment to student development.
