In Wilhelmsen Ships Agency, we provide our customers with piece of mind while we handle their cargo, their vessels, and their crew. We handle 75,000 port calls per year, which means that every 7 minutes, anywhere around the world, we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. We match local expertise with strict global standards, making sure we consistently make our customers’ port calls as efficient and safe as possible.
Now more than ever we see that the maritime industry keeps the world going round, and as agents we are the linking pin in the process of transporting goods around the world. Our vision is to shape the maritime industry, and we constantly develop new and improved solutions for our customers, like last mile drone delivery and our online interactive maps showing Covid port restrictions which has reached more than 500,000 users globally.
We now have the opportunity for you to join our global network.
We are looking for a Global Agent Administrator who are able to commit for at least 1 year of service with the company. If you can manage customers’ requirements as per Service Agreement, check and verify disbursement account in order – then this is the role for you!
Qualifications you have for this role :
- Preferably experience from the marine industry, preferably ships agency operations
- Ability to work independently and systematically
- Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities
- Computer literate
- Positive attitude
- Excellent service mindset
Your future duties and responsibilities :
- Coordinate all SASA Agreement related jobs
- Ensure all Final Disbursement Account are handled without any delay
- Extract Job details out from Virtual Agent and instruction from email given by global agent
- Ensure proper DA handling, including correct data input, monitoring, verification and processing.
- Split job required for customers
- Follow up closely on FDA queries with local agent
- Provide breakdown calculations for invoices without USD amount for customer’s understanding
- Ensure adherence related to regulatory issues pertaining to Ships Agency
- Provide regular feedback on the disputes on local agent/global agent to reporting manager
- Gather information required to help investigation and resolution in Final DA Settlement disputes
- Follow up complaints/non-compliances through improvement/complaint system in place for agents
- Submit FDA to customer
- Check email correspondences during FDAs verification
