Job description for Front Office Executive at Worldwide Hotels Group
Worldwide Hotels is Singapore's largest homegrown tourist-class hotel group. We own and manage 41 properties under 7 brands - ICON Hotel, V Hotel, Hotel Boss, Hotel Mi, Value Hotel, Venue Hotel and Hotel 81 - with over 8,600 rooms at strategic locations in Singapore.
As we expand our international footprint, Worldwide Hotels owns 11 hotels in Australia, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea and Thailand.
Responsibilities:
- Executes all duties related to the Hotel's front office operations, such as registration of guests during check-in, checking/verifying guests particulars, updating of room status, departure calls/checks etc.
- Cashiering duties (compute and collect applicable rates from guests) including trial balance and shift closing
- Answering inquiries by guests (email/phone/at the counter) and render reasonable assistance/services within the expectations of keeping with excellent hospitality standards
- May be tasked to execute room checks, reservations and public area checks etc. as part of the Hotel's effort to offer staffs more holistic training, towards possible promotion
- Use AI-powered workplace productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or other approved AI applications) to improve operational efficiency, reporting, communication or process automation.
- Execute all reasonable work processes as instructed by the Company / its Managers from time to time towards the smooth management / operations of the Hotel
- Support the company's sustainability initiatives and contribute to its efforts in building a more sustainable and inclusive organisation.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum Secondary Education.
- Bring your passion for customer service and people interaction to our team! Candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply, and on-the-job training will be provided.
- Able to communicate effectively in English.
- Enjoy a dynamic work environment and be willing to work rotating shifts (10 to 12 hours) at any of our designated hotel branches.
- A self-motivated individual who can thrive independently and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working on weekends and public holidays as part of the hospitality industry.
- Experience with AI-powered workplace productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or other approved AI applications) will be an added advantage.
