Job description
As a Freelance Medical Content Writer you will ensure the medical accuracy of translations and inclusion of mandatory information per global guidance. In addition, you will certify that the material complies with applicable local codes, relevant policies and plagiarism-free, and that final material is appropriate for use with the intended target audience.
Responsibilities:
o Write or translate medical articles taking reference from approved sources by the team
o Able to contribute at least 5 articles per week (200-300 words each)
o Understand the needs of our various target audiences and be able to draft compelling content that clearly and succinctly tells a story.
o Own content process from beginning to end, including, but not limited to brainstorming with internal teams, interviewing of internal and external subject matter experts, writing and editing, working to leverage content, sharing of content internally and externally and measurement of results.
o Be able to understand the content team's overall goals and propose researched ideas for content creation that will align with existing efforts and help us achieve our objectives.
o Collaborate and communicate with marketing, product, and content teams in content conception, creation, promotion, measurement, and refinement.
Requirements:
o Have keen interests or expertise in women’s health (including OG, reproductive health etc)
o Experienced as Medical Writer for Online Publication is a plus
o Passionate in writing, and in the accompanied research that is necessary to produce beautiful copy
o Up-to-date with medicine information, and familiar with channels to use as references in researching them
o A master of language - fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
o Quick learner and able to meet tight deadlines
o Knowledge in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a plus
