Job description for Finance Accounting Officer at PT Marhaba Wefada Indonesia
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Finance & Accounting Officer to support our growing operations in the Umrah & Hajj travel industry. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting, smooth payment processes, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify journals, purchase invoices, and payment vouchers against supporting documents
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and prepare journal vouchers
- Ensure all payments comply with agreed terms and contractual rates
- Review invoices and prepare payment vouchers accurately
- Oversee daily financial transactions (AP/AR, general ledger, bank reconciliation)
- Maintain and update financial records in a timely and accurate manner
- Support daily accounting activities (data entry, reconciliation, journal entries)
- Create invoice billing and follow up on vendor payments
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Ensure all finance activities are completed accurately, timely, and completely
- Handle company tax processes and ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance (experience in travel industry is a plus)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Odoo or similar ERP systems preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial data management
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
