Job description
TANGAN is a premium brand based in Jakarta, Indonesia starts in early 2015 that present an authentic and organic ready to wear collection. Focus on both local and international market.
TANGAN is looking for an Fashion Design Intern starting in February 2021
Through this experience you will learn how to work within a fashion brand and work within a team. You will be able to experience fashion product development from start to finish, from planning to production.
Main task:
Assisting the studio in day-to-day tasks
Assisting the designer and pattern-cutter in creating current season samples
Tracing and cutting patterns for samples and production
Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign) in creating industry standard technical packs ready for production
Organising production dockets and files
Seasonal trend, material, colour and product research
Sampling and experimentation
Supporting seasonal campaign and collection preparations
Organisation and participation of seasonal lookbook styling & shootings
Your profile:
Fashion, Textile or Graphic design student
Interest for fashion, trends, materials and colours
Enthusiastic, willing to learn
Excellent organisational and people skills
Great technical understanding of garment construction and apparel design
Pattern-cutting skills
CAD Skills (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop)
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with pressing deadlines
Must have skills
Nice to have skills
