VFlowTech (VFT) is reinventing energy storage with Vanadium redox flow technology, with a vision to develop the cheapest and most scalable Vanadium redox flow batteries in the world. VFT storage solution has an expected life span of 25 years and is proven to be one of the safest and most environmentally friendly battery technologies. VFT founders have deep experience in the renewable space, and Vanadium redox flow technology. VFT is a spin-off of the CleanTech lab of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and benefits from unique IP arising from many years of intensive research at NTU.
The Embedded Software Engineer must be able to work effectively in a collaborative, fast paced environment providing experience on energy storage systems. They will demonstrate strong project management, development, and execution capabilities. The successful candidate will be an innovative thinker, fast-learner, collaborative worker, and self-starter with a passion for the renewable energy industry holding a track record of success thriving in a high growth environment.
· Support the design and development of Energy Management Systems (EMS). You should have experience in C/C++, software development in embedded linux platforms, and common communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, and UART. Your work scope will involve embedded linux software development to interface with devices/cloud and embedded product development starting from conceptualizing to deployment.
· You will work on implementing functional and control logic of energy management products.
· You need to work with other functional teams and need to have a passion for renewable energy storage engineering.
· Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in computer/electronics engineering or relevant discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in embedded software development.
· Professional experience in C, C++, Embedded Linux, Python, GUI programming.
· You should have experience in embedded software development to interface with other devices and cloud projects.
· Experience on any IDE such as QT/Visual Studio
· You should have knowledge of common communication interfaces and protocols, such as Modbus, CAN, UART, etc.
· You should have basic knowledge of electronic circuits.
· Familiar with renewable technology would be ideal.
· You will be required to travel for business.
