Job description for Electrical Plan Reviewer ( FULL ENGLISH SPEAKING ) at Infinity Energy, Inc
Infinity Energy is currently seeking an experienced electrician to join our team as an Electrical Plan Reviewer in Rocklin, CA. The main responsibility of an Electrical Plan Reviewer is to ensure each plan set for each project meets all electrical, city, solar, and utility company requirements. The Electrical Plan Reviewer will work in tandem with the CAD drafters to make sure team electrical knowledge is up to par.
Responsibilities for Electrical Plan Reviewer include, but are not limited to:
Knowledge of NEC and CEC Codes
Assist CAD Drafters with electrical diagrams and offer guidance
Help train CAD Drafters on electrical guidelines and best practices
Must be able to read plansets and create recommendations making it easier for field electricians
Make certain module layout will actually fit on roof and abide by AHJ building codes.
Abide by all utility company requirements.
Make sure the solar equipment is interconnected correctly abiding by specific equipment requirements and connection formulas.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the position of Electrical Plan Reviewer:
3-years’ experience as an electrician or electrical engineer preferred but not required (License not required)
Electrical Engineering students encouraged to apply
High level knowledge and familiarity with construction documents and plans
Must be able to handle several tasks at a time as well as understand and work within the time and financial constraints of the construction industry
Ability to communicate effectively with employees of all levels within and outside of the organization
Must be a strong team player and work within a team as well as independently
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Effective listening, verbal, and written communications skills
Good problem-solving skills
Effective time / project management skills
Willingly takes on additional assignments as requested
Demonstrated ability to professionally respond to stressful situations in a patient, friendly, and timely manner
Respectfully accepts coaching and guidance provided constructively in order to continually improve, grow, absorb, and adapt
